PhD research project name: Understanding the impacts of a nurse-led model of contraceptive and abortion care in rural and regional general practice

Jeana joined the SPHERE research group in 2023 as a PhD candidate and is being co-supervised by Prof Danielle Mazza, Dr Jessica Botfield, and Dr Noushin Arefadib. Jeana is passionate about public health and in particular women's health. Her research project is aimed at understanding which components of the ORIENT intervention and implementation support activities worked and why. Jeana also holds a Master of Public Health (University of Melbourne) and has experience working as a registered nurse and public health officer.
