PhD research project name: Sexual and Reproductive Health Information and Service Needs of Young Adults in Sri Lanka.

Medhavi Weerasinghe is currently completing her PhD with the department of Global and Women’s Health at the Monash University School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Her research project aims to understand the sexual and reproductive health information and service needs of young adults living in Sri Lanka. Medhavi completed her undergraduate studies in International Studies and Politics with Monash University in 2019, followed by a Masters of International Relations degree in 2021. Medhavi's research and career aspirations are to help empower diverse communities to have their voices and health needs represented within global health research and initiatives.
