PhD research project name: Understanding information availability and culturally responsive delivery of contraceptive care for South Asian women in Australia.
Sethini is a PhD candidate at Monash University in the Global and Women's Health Unit, supervised by Professor Jane Fisher and Dr Karin Stanzel. Her research aims to focus on the information availability and delivery of culturally appropriate contraception care for South Asian migrant and refugee women in Australia. She is passionate about promoting equitable access to sexual and reproductive healthcare. Sethini completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University, followed by a Bachelor of Biomedical Science Honours on a project exploring access to abortion care in Australia.
